Journey of a Former Home-schooling, Transracial, Adoptive and Foster Family

These photos from November of 2012.  This was right after our little preemie baby returned to her mother to a specialized home.  Little did we know she would return to us a few days later.  She is almost 10 months old and is still with us.  Right now, cooing with her "daddy".  We lost the disc with these photos and have not been able to get another one from her since then.  There are MANY more pictures, but alas...they are gone...for now.  Here are the ones I found.  Our normally fussy child was calm and our calm child was fussy....who knew.  Remember photos are not a reflection of a perfect little family, but of a REALLY great photographer willing to do anything for the shot.  We do NOT photoshop heads in and out.  My hands are filled with candy to bribe and one is holding a wiggling child still while tickling her to get some sort of smile.  The top photo just simply happened.  The right moment occurred.  She ran to hug her brother and the photographer caught it.  She loves her brother so and he returns that love!  She will miss him so much next year when he goes to college, but I feel certain he will miss her as well.....so will the rest of us.
